Olympian and WWII hero, Louis Zamperini, is haunted by nightmares of his torment and does not see himself as a hero. After meeting and marrying Cynthia, Louis sets his goal of revenge that almost cost him the love of his life. Meanwhile, Cynthia accepts Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord at a Billy Graham crusade in Los Angeles. Renewing her commitment to her marriage, Cynthia fervently prays for God to give Louis the forgiveness and peace he so desperately needs.
