Meet the Browns is a play, a movie and a TBS television sitcom. In the movie, Brenda, the sister of Madea's neighbor Mr. Brown never knew he had, meets her Brown family siblings upon the death of their father. In the process, Brenda, a struggling single mother from Chicago, also finds love and a new life. The movie stars David & Tamela Mann, Angela Bassett, Rick Fox, Jennifer Lewis. In the stage play, Cora, Madea's daughter meets her Brown family relatives upon the death of her paternal grandfather.
