The Wizard of Oz is the 1939 movie based on the children's novel by Frank Baum. Dorothy journeys through Oz to see the Wizard to request help to return to her family and friends in Kansas. Along th way, she meets a cast of characters who journey with her and stand with her as she confronts her arch enemy, the Wicked Witch of the West. The movie stars Judy Garland, Ray Bolger, Jack Haley, Bert Lahr and Margaret Mitchell.
