Rose Bowl Stadium

Rose Bowl Stadium, a National Historic Landmark, is the home of the UCLA Bruins foot ball team and the location of the annual Rose Bowl football game. The Pasadena Tournament of Roses Association sought construction of this stadium as a venue for the annual Rose Bowl Game. Rose Bowl Stadium opened in 1922. The stadium has also been used for soccer games and tournaments, Super Bowls and Summer Olympic games. Other entertainment events hosted by the Rose Bowl include American Idol auditions and music video shoots. Local events held at Rose Bowl Stadium include the annual Fourth of July Firework celebration, the annual Turkey Tussle high school football game, and the monthly Rose Bowl Flea Market held in the parking lots.

Pasadena Playhouse

The Pasadena Playhouse is California's official State Theatre. Established in 1917 The Playhouse is a landmark theatre that has been called “the Athens of the West” and has showcased works by Shakespeare, as well as Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning plays. It is also a popular premiering location for new plays. The Playhouse has produced actors who later became notable film and/or television stars. Includes actors Eve Arden, Angela Bassett, Wayne Brady, Charles Bronson, Raymond Burr, Ruth Buzzi, Don DeFore, Gene Hackman, Dustin Hoffman, Earl Holliman, Rue McClanahan, Joyce Meadows, Leonard Nimoy, Lloyd Nolan, Nick Nolte, Eleanor Parker, Robert Preston, George Reeves, Barbara Rush, Sally Struthers, Jo Anne Worley and Robert Young.

Fremont Centre Theatre

Fremont Centre Theatre is a 75-seat venue that encourages, nurtures and launches new plays and playwrights. It is also a theatre that promotes diversity, showcasing productions featuring stories from various ethnicities and backgrounds. Fremont Centre Theatre is a part of the California Performing Arts Centre and opended in 1997 under the leadership of James and Lissa Reynolds. James Reynolds is known for his role as Abe Carver on Days of Our Lives. Josh Taylor (Roman Brady of Days of Our Lives) also serves as a Board Member.

Pasadena Civic Auditorium

Pasadena Civic Auditorium is a 3,029-seat venue for Broadway musicals, ballet performances, concerts and award shows. It is the location of the annual Daytime Emmy Awards, the annual NAACP Image Awards and the annual People's Choice Awards. This civic auditorium also has facilities for meetings, parties and receptions. Pasadena Civic Auditorium is a part of the Pasadena Center.
